Westport Continuing Education offers after-school enrichment programs for K-12 students, afternoon and evening workshops and classes for adults, as well as a wide range of summer camps, classes, and for-credit courses for children and adults.
Westport Continuing Education wanted to update their existing Web Solutions website to improve the design, take advantage of the latest technology, and make it easier for mobile users to see classes and register.
Web Solutions built a new website in its Content Management System v4 Enrichment platform, with an easy to use interface and fresh new design reflecting the upgraded visual brand.
“The new website is designed to be easier to navigate and most importantly, mobile-friendly,” said Christine Jewell, Director of Continuing Education. “As more and more people rely on their phones for many tasks, the new website will make it easier for our customers to register.”
The front page of the website now features an engaging design with bold colors and photographs, and Westport Continuing Education will be able to use the main image area to feature new and upcoming programs and change it as needed. To make it easier for parents to find classes for their kids, the Kid’s Programs section can be filtered by grade and topic.
“Web Solutions set up a timeline in order to get this project done, which was very helpful,” said Jewell. “The team is always responsive to any issues or changes that we need to make.”
